Hey Holly, I hear you can go down to Mountain Creek Lake across the street from the DFW National Cemetary and there is a big field there. Friends of mine used that location two years ago with their toddler. that way he didnt run into the traffic on the side of the freeways. Ill be out there Sat if the weather co-operates taking photos of two of my friends kiddos! I cant WAIT!

Hi Rene,

You mention other photo ops in the Ferris area...I am thinking about a Sat late afternoon / sunset trip... How far is it from Dallas?

Are there any other wildflowers?

BTW, where is Bristol, Texas... I Googled it can could not find it :{

Have you seen anything around Ennis yet?

With Google Maps you have to click on "Link to this page" in order for the proper link to show in your browser before you copy and past it...here is the link to the bristol area:

Hi Paul,

Bristol is about 10 minutes SE of Ferris and about 40-45 minutes from downtown Dallas. There aren’t really any other wild flowers yet, but I suggest if you are looking for bb pictures go as soon as you can because some people will sit right in the middle of them and squish them and that ruins it for everyone else

I-45 from Ferris to Ennis is abundant in bbs right now. My sis and I spent all day yesterday driving SE Ellis County and had a great time enjoying the weather and the scenery. Being from here, I sometimes forget to appreciate how beautiful it is in the spring.

PS Sorry I just noticed that link went straight to Google Maps, not the location I was trying to show yall. Click the link above then paste this in. Sugar Ridge Rd, Bristol, TX This will show you the exact location, as well as Bristol.

Have fun!
