Hey Karen, this is a great shot! How you got the rider to look at you I'll never know, that was very difficult to do.

Also you managed to get a water shot with a background void of construction equipment and it makes all the difference.

Very nice!

Craig, the question is whether or not she will keep you!, not the other way around.

Karen, so glad to finally see your work. Very well done.

Thank you, Jerry. You guys just thought I was hanging around for your good looks. I actually have been trying to soak in some of y'all's photo knowledge. I still have a ton to learn so y'all will have to put up with me for awhile yet.

Good Shots - 06-06-2005, 10:10 PM

Good series, Tom. You even caught Brad in the second one. Always makes for a good picture. :) Who's the other shooter?

Thanks Bruce. I am amazed and humbled by some of the shots I have seen. It is also a tremendous learning experience to attend the same event, see the same things, and then compare what others saw with their camera vs. what you saw and captured.
I gave up photography some time ago because I couldn't keep up with the costs of matching everyones technology. Today, the techonology is affordable and due to the internet we can all learn from each other nearly instantly.
As Yakov Smirnoff would say " What a country !!! "
p.s. Brad, am I in that shot ???

As a matter of fact, I think you are... I had to go back and find the shots.. I didn't even process this set originally since it was similar to others I had.. but here they are in sequence:

It also appears you showed up in one of my favorite shots of the day:
