A hamburger is only about $6 and a coke is a little less.
And, you can always buy some of the nice crunchies from those little .25 machines.. Most people give it the animals, but I think it tastes pretty good.
It's at least as good as the hamburgers......
I'm a member, and the membership value is great. Don't buy the food. It is pretty bad.....

haha, nice... Well let's see. I'm phasing out carbonated drinks almost to nothing...I'm cutting down to once per week instead of 4-5 times a week...then cutting down red meat as well. If I make a sandwich and bring a powerade and some veggie sticks, I'll be good to go. I can't wait! This is gonna be awesome!

I want to go again soon too. I just got my 1.4x extender today and eager to try it out on my 70-200... Zoo might be a good place to test it.. There and at my son's soccer game that is surely to be rained out a second time this week.

FYI - Friday is Good Friday. We went on that one time thinking that it would not be crowded, we were sooooo wrong. Most schools are out on that day.

If you go early in the morning it's not bad, even on the weekend. Just clear our before noon - it gets insane.

Just don't go on Wednesdays - it's half-price day and a lot of school trips are made then.

I ran across this family today at the zoo. The dad's name was Mark and had a Nikon D50 with a kit lens I believe. I walked around the entire zoo with my 70-200 F4L today and I guess he spotted me. In any case, I helped them take a family picture and the camera actually feels real good; almost better than my Rebel. Long live Canon though...I'm more comfortable with it and after investing so much in lenses, I'm not switching. pics to come soon.

I was a Nikon shooter for a while as was my partner.. I converted him.. Well.. I think my images converted him...after having to combine our work on several wedding projects...hehe | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
