Awesome! I have to get out there someday. Are operations usually M-F 8-5? Are the ATC frequencies public?

Yeah. . . during the week. It can be slow. . or busy. And as far as the F-35 flying it's anyone's guess. . .I lucked out today.

It can be a little slow. . . I take a newspaper or a magazine. I go about once a week or so. . .depends on the weather. It's a relaxing way to spend 2 or 3 hours. It helps having an interest in aviation/military and photography.

Awesome pics, nice crisp images. What lens you using???

Just for the record, the F-35 just isn't as sexy and sleek as some of the previous fighters like the F-16 or F-14... just doesn't exite me.

Pictures of ANYTHING that can go over MACH 2 , however, DO exite me

the Canon 300 f4 IS

and I agree that it's not the sexiest aircraft around. But it seems to be the design of the future (F-22, F-117 etc etc)

Oh WOW! It's getting to be downright sad that I still haven't made it out there. I should really make an effort before it gets too hot and I have another excuse for not making it.
