Being a fan of contrast, I rather like it. I might like to see more detail in the bushes in front of the structure, but that's just me. If you like it, that's what matters.

I like this a lot, Norm! Nice art style photo. It does look like artifacts in the clouds though. Is that on the full size or just a byproduct of web posting?
'Course, leave it to Tom to be on the lookout for a wicked woman. Just what you need, Tom. LOL

Norm, great shot and all. You said that you were playing around in PS. Do youkeep track of what you do for photos like this? I could see spending hours creating this image and then not being able to QUITE duplicate it when I wanted to...

Norm,
I like it very much except those bright blue spots on the clouds in the upper right corner. Maybe tone them down just a hair so they look more like the sky/cloud that is bleeding on the top center-right? This may just be in the jpeg so if this is not showing in the original then never mind;) The rest of the photo is great!
Best regards, | | | |

Norm,
Like Kevin said if you like it that is all that matters, I however like the shot just not the high contrast. You did ask for opinions.

thanks for the input,
Kevin the "bushes" are actually overgrown weeds, in the original the look like a mess so I tried to just bring them down, but perhaps too much.
Tom, I cloned her out, sorry! LOL
Dokk, you are correct there are artifacts in the clouds, that is a byproduct of running Lucias and then noiseware a few times, but I kind of like it, so I will keep it that way, unless the print looks bad.
Bruce, well I can probably get close I did about 15 layers anc auto color corrected it around 4 times. I used alot of actions and saturated then desaturated other colors. Maybe I should start writing these steps down...lol
Arnon, the blue is the main reason I like the picture, I thought it made the sky look very angry at the little house. thanks for you thoughts.
Scott I appreciate honest opinions, after all this is all subjective to what you like. As long as you are honest, all comments good or bad, are appreciated.

| I figure that if the witch is nearby, then that hot Dorothy will show up sooner or later, and she might even bring some of those sexy munchkins with her. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
