Sent them to the Star-Telegram. Guy at the photo-desk said the best they had so far was what was shot from T-Dot cameras.

Would be cool if they used them.

this event was of such short duration that they likely didn't have any staff close by.
They will usually use staff photos first, then stringers (you). Good Luck.

They sure did lighten it a lot. I tried that but didn't like the lack of detail in the flames after doing that. Wish I would have had time to adjust my camera settings this morning.

The person I spoke with said they would pay $75.00 if they used them.

I think from an artistic point of view (if that is possible while shooting while driving on the freeway) I like this one the best.

i like this one too, but i guess they used the other one because of the sense of scale with the fire engines rolling in..
