David, I'm still processing mine but WOW, that first shot is great! That 600mm sure is nice...of course the nut behind the lens is pretty good too.

Nice shots so far.
I'll lower the standard.
I certainly felt some "lens envy" with all that glass around today.... WOW !!

It was a blast hanging out with everyone - David, Norm, Tom, Ronnie, Erica, Marty, Joe, John, and Roy. Roy, we missed you down in the cheap seats...maybe next time I'll put on deodorant and they'll let me in the owner's area. I think I'm forgetting someone - please jump in and correct me.

As to pictures, well, I've had worse days and I've had better days. Here are a few that I processed on the first pass.

#1 - Horses have the exact same placement of their legs

#2 - More close racing

#3 - Panning at 1/50 second 220mm (effective 275mm), probably my favorite shot

#4 - Leading an excited horse to the gates

#5 - Panning at 1/125 second 235mm (effective 294mm)

#6 - Norm holding the monster 600mm with Cap'n Tom in the background (and through the viewfinder in the lens)

#7 - Coming onto the home strech in the last race

Tom, you certainly aren't lowering the standard. That third shot of the jockey is absolutely spectacular!

Wow everybody got some great shots! I'm impressed!

I haven't even had a chance to upload mine and look at them. I had to come home and go to work on honey do's. We weren't suppose to be in the owners area? I think I got lost and just kinda wound up there. Turns out I know one of the owners and he wants to purchase some photos of his horse and his wife with his horse. I didn't even know he was there. He found me pointing my little 200 mm at some horses and jockies.

Wondered where everybody was but I think I saw that 600 bazooka from a distance. It still looked huge.

Very nice work guys. Hope I got a few decent ones.
