I went up to Grapevine Lake today to see how full it was and I think it is. Heck, how much deeper can it get if the boat houses are sinking!

I sure hope so. The last time I was there, it was big time low.

It appears you processed that image with LR. Nice job.

WOW! My FIL's Old boat house is out on lake Grapevine. last time it flooded he had to go get his boat house because it floated off the poles! I will have to head out in that direction This week and see how high it has gotten! My FIL passed away in 2005 so someone else owns the Boathouse now.

Actually, that was the only boathouse in that area that was like that so I suppose it had other problems. Grapevine is getting high but it's still far from flood stage. We went over by the spillway and it's not even near that yet so don't fret!

My father In laws old boat house is down there off dove loop. Just before you get to the Boat storage plce you turn into the park. I THINK that is oak Grove Park, Not too sure. I dont know if it is still standing or not. We sold it after he had passed away. I have been there once or twice since then and it looks like the people who bought it are keeping it in somewhat decent shape. Kind of heartbreaking to see. My FIL spent ALLLLLL Day at that boat house. that was his life. That is where he passed away, so it means a lot to us to see someone take care of it. Although they arent taking care of it like he would have.

This pic was taken in the Oak Grove park area off of Dove Loop, although they have renamed everything since I grew up out there. It's something Slough now and Oak Grove has been split up into a few areas with new names.
