Anyone for the Cats Game on Fri. night ?

I'm likely going and was wondering if anyone else would be interested getting together there.
I understand they are very camera friendly.
I can't get there tonight, which is opening night and there will be fireworks, etc.

I would love to go.. but I have promised my wife to take her out tomorrow for the first time "alone" since the birth of our second child in January. LOL

I love the Cats and would love to go with a group sometime.

They're fine with it. At least they were when I went the last time a couple years ago. Easy to get very good shots out there too. I was so impressed.. the players came up to my son handed him a ball, had him go out on the field and run the bases, etc after the game. Good times. I'd be there tonight.. but they made such an impression on my kid, that we have T-ball games every Thur and Sat and practice Tues these days.. LOL

And for those of us who live in Grand Prairie, you have a chance to vote for getting our own stadium that will host a team in competition with the Cats.... election is Saturday.

I would love to do a Cats game sometime... but won't be this month.

I went to the game. Great night out.
FYI parking 5 bucks. Ticket for seat at first base in the second tier at the fence (great angle for shooting) 10 bucks... Beer in a plastic bottle 4.50
The Cats lost ( i think 'cause I left top of the ninth).

Minor league ball is so much more exciting than the big leagues. Busted plays, bad pitching, errors, etc. make for a great game to shoot.

I'll post some tomorrow. I was basically just testing the light, timing, etc.

I did a commercial shoot yesterday and have been spending time getting it wrapped up. Game last night was a breather. Had to chase mailmen down today for shots of a food collection event.

Ok. so a question for you.

I notice a fence behind the batter, but no fence in front of you. Were you on the inside of the fence? Where were you sitting? I had wanted to go to the Thursday night game, but the weather didn't look too promising and my wife's appointment ran way long.

I may try to go to a game here soon. I want to go to a Ranger's game as well, but Fort Worth is obviously closer for me.
