I got spammed that there is a photographer/model meet and greet at the Dallas Arboretum on May 26th at 9am. Anyone get this?

I have only been to Arboretum during the spring bloosom time, is right now still a good time to go?

There's rarely a "bad" time to go.

Wish I was in town. Sure wouldn't mind meeting up. However, I'll be in Lubbock (uugghhh)

Would go but can't get around yet much with the broken ankle and all but could be a decent chance to do some portrait work. Should be plenty of blooms to pick up on and I noticed last week that the tree houses (well at least some of them) are still up that were up during the winter, can offer some great opportunities to shoot a model with different backgrounds other than flowers.

If I were shooting I would find a girl in a free flowing summer dress and head over to the reflecting pool that is at the base of the Kamp (?) estate that has a couple sculptures around it-get the girl into good position with the sun coming over the photographers right shoulder (models left or even straight at her face or back) and getting down low to get some great angle shots-hope for a partly cloudy sky-with the lake in the background with great brokah.
