How are you managing to get so close for shots like this? Is it that 400mm zoom? You sure get some good ones. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed it.

Great shots as usual.
I didn't see any notice of this event anywhere.
This would be a good place to let folks know when events like this are upcoming.
I certainly will do my best to let y'all know when something photointeresting(Imadeupthatword) comes up.

Try the last picture in b&w or sepia tone. I think it would look great!

OK, here's a quick 2 minute adjustment. Removed all color, added a tint and added slight gausian noise. Just and idea.
Nice photos! | | | |

Wowser Keith,
Great shots, I have been wanting to go there for so long. We drove by it last week several times, and didn't see anything advertised.
Really neat captures, very sharp and crisp shots, and the colors are wonderful.
Would there be enough at the Museum to shoot without all the flying activities?
Thanks for sharing your pics!!

Thanks Craig. . . I kinda lucked out finding that there was going to be a Fly-in this weekend. . . it's a rather small museum. I don't think I saw any ad in the Star-Telegram about it. . . I happened upon their website and found out that way. . . as for the aircraft they have, they have a B-17 in the hanger there. I don't think it ever comes out. . . Other than it, nothing really glamourous (ie P-51, P-47, or Japanese Zero's to name a few) . . .
