First complete Rainbow and 1st Photostitch - 06-05-2007, 09:00 PM

Weather here last night was really cool and I was able to get my first shots of a Rainbow since the good ole FILM DAYS yes I used to use that good ole stuff.

Anyway this was the scene as I saw it from both the front and back side of my home here in NRH.

The first shot is only boosted in contrast but that is ALL and cropped.

The second photo is my first attempt at stitching 2 shots together from the front of the house to the back of the house to show this Beautiful Rainbows completeness as well as some processing I wanted to try to make it look really Cool which it did in its natural state but just wanted to Kick it Up a notch.

The 3rd shot is straight from the camera as I saw it.

All shot with the Canon 20D and 18-55 KIT LENS, Imagine that

Any comments are greatly appreciated.

Is the stitch just vertical of the gable end of the side of the structure with the white gable end? If not, I don't see it. It's still a cool shot either way!

Roy the Stitch is right aroung the house to the left of mine which is on the right side of this photo, so yes the stitch starts at the white gable of the neighbors house next door and ends on the right side of the photo, I was almost able to get the full rainbow from the front of the house before it dissappeared but took these 2 shots earlier and stitched then together.

Thanks for looking and the comments,

Steve

I saw that myself but was too close to get a decent shot. Glad someone did. Nice!
