My husband and I are redecorating our living room. He wants to decorate using photos from around the Metroplex, and I'm cool with that since he wants me to do the honors (which means more quality time with my camera ). He suggested using images of various bronze statues in the area, but I don't know of any other than the mustangs at Las Colinas and the longhorns at Pioneer Park in Dallas. Are there any others I should know about???

Here's a challenge. This bronze is located behind the "flatiron" building in downtown Ft. Worth. Can you find it ??

Interesting concept. There is a Kumodo Dragon at the Fort Worth Zoo. Also, try google. Seems as though several are listed..longhorn in stock yards, Will Rodgers and Soapsuds near the coliseum, etc. http://www.google.com/search?q=fort+...ient=firefox-a

I can't remember if it is bronze or not, but there is a statue of Elvis in West End. There are also the horses in Lincoln square in Arlington. Took this one right at sunset, end of April.

There are several bronze sculptures in the Fort Worth Cultural district. The Amon Carter Museum used to have a map to all of them. They may have it on their website now that they are closed. I know that there is one right in front of the museum and one in front of the Amon Carter Exhibits Hall at the Will Rogers Coliseum. There may also be one in front of the Cowgirl Hall of Fame. The Kimbell has a few, but I don't think they're all bronze. Hope this helps!

Here is a link to the sculptures in the cultural district. It's actually about all the public art in the area, not just sculptures. http://www.cartermuseum.org/files/acm-walking-tour.pdf

My brother has a book on Texas sculpture- there are a LOT of them around.
What's the big office building next to the art museum in Dallas that has the sculptures?
Somewhere downtown is a huge neat single stylized horse. And a street sweeper. There is a Cancer Survivor's Plaza with sculptures. A Skateboarding Kid here in Garland.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
and then it petered out and I had to retrace my steps and wasted half a day.
