New Animals Around the Zoo
Tamarin Treetops Opening Saturday, July 2 will be the opening of the newest
exhibit at the Dallas Zoo. Tamarin Treetops will feature a pair of golden lion
tamarins and one cotton-top tamarin. A second cotton-top will be added to the
exhibit shortly. Tamarins are small primates from South America and are highly
endangered due to loss of habitat. The next time you visit the Zoo be sure to
see Tamarin Treetops, located in ZooNorth between the Lacerte Family Children's
Zoo and Primate Place (across from the Prime Meridian).
