Looking for Bleachers/Football Stadium, etc. - 06-09-2007, 09:32 PM

I have a couple coming in from Oregon in a few weeks for an engagement shoot. They are both college football nuts and would like to do their engagement shoot around football...

So...I'm looking for locations -- bleachers, a football field...something that we can get into (without breaking in!) and that would look good as a background.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks so much!!

where you are willing to drive to?

you could try a public park w/ bleachers...softball season is going on, but bleachers none-the-less

Try some of the ISD football stadiums, like in Frisco or the brand new one in Little Elm. They are all empty now that school is out.

Northwest ISD has a really nice stadium. It's pretty new. It's off Hwy 114 just west of Texas Motor Speedway.

I'm pretty sure the Garland ISD football stadiums are kept locked when not in use and suspect that is pretty typical all around (including the Cotton Bowl). You might try contacting some of these places and see if you can talk your way in. (Cotton Bowl might be good for that, it's pretty dead around there this time of year.) Beware the heat, get out of a car and walk 300 yards and everyone will be sweaty.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
and then it petered out and I had to retrace my steps and wasted half a day.
