These were the conditions at my house last night in north east Fort Worth near Alliance...at around 3:00am...sorry for the poor quality, these were all hand held, with the only illumination being the lightning (and street lights).....

I hope so too. My wife is trying to reach Geico right now.....

looking at the news this morning, I feel very lucky that my cars are the only thing that got hit. My heart goes out to those that lost a whole lot more.....

Wow! We drove thru a heavy downpour for miles coming back from Oklahoma to Ft. Worth on Saturday evening. The storm was just north of Bowie. Too heavy for me to see 100' ahead but we were just on the highway. I don't know that i've ever seen it as bad as your photos on an inclined city street. That's some heavy rain!

Wow! Water's a taaaaad bit high.

Slept through last night like a baby. Nothing noteworthy happened around my area.

Yeh, it's been raining a lot these past months. The clouds make for some great photos though.

Hope everything goes well with your situation!

Im with Roland, I slept RIGHT through the storms. woke up to go to work this morning and realized it had rained over night when the concreate and the cars were wet, but there wasnt any flooding in my area that I am aware of. We are over in S Arlington. Scooby Roo are you ok? I know you live up north where a good majority of the storms hit and flooded.

what neighborhood is that?
<-not a stalker or anything but I thought only the older neighberhoods flooded that bad

you didnt happen to see beer creek park in Keller did you? crazy stuff man! I would have never thought those homes would need flood insurance but after that I would deffinately be considering it.

Pretty new development, McPherson Ranch off of alta vista rd near 170. My house was built around 3 years ago and they're still building in this development.

I'm pretty sure they did a poor job surveying this tract and allowing for proper drainage. The builder has had to install two seperate french drains in our back yard to keep it from becoming a muddy mess and its still not great.

Builder: DR Horton.

we have the Same issue in our back and side yards. we had to have a french drain installed to run the length of the backyard, as well as the side yards and have it drain out to the front yard. For whatever reason the builder built our neighborhood on an incline. My backyard and two of my other neighbors yards are multi leveled with Rail Road Ties. I hate it! And both the levels slope directly to the back of the house, hence the need for the french drain. its like they built the neighborhood as an after thought or something. There are six houses on one side of the street and 6 on the other that were built in 96, the rest of the houses that surround the neighborhood were built in the early 80s! Its wierd. Our builder was Choice Homes in South Arlington.
