Ft Worth Science Museum & cameras? - 06-30-2007, 10:05 AM

Hey, I dunno if anyone will answer this before we go, but how is the Ft Worth Science Museum about cameras? I was wanting to bring my 20D w/the 50mm f/1.4 to the Star Wars exhibit.

Well, I just decided to call - yes cameras are allowed. No mention of any restrictions.

I was down there yesterday for the exhibit and there is no restrictions on cameras or using flash.

Keep in mind though it's fairly dark and there's a lot of reflective glass. Also, the exhibits are close to each other so there's not much room to back up.

Yeah, I think I got some decent shots of the models, but not of the big stuff. I had to laugh though at all the folks with their little P&S cameras trying to take pictures of stuff with the falsh on. They are going to go home have 30 pictures of their flash reflecting off the glass cases.

It's even funnier when they are trying to take pictures of shamu and the killer whale jumping in the air, while they are 20-40 yards. Not like it is going to help...
