Field of sunflowers needed - 07-12-2007, 08:43 PM

Hey guys I am trying to find a field of sunflowers in the DFW area that I can drive my car up into for a photo shoot I am needing. Does anybody know or have a location like this. I would love it if somebody owned the field.

Thanks,
Adam Howard

I don't have a location for you. Just an anecdote from last year.
I tried the same idea after I found a big field of sunflowers and a nice car path going right through the middle.
I got about six shots into the shoot at sunset, and found myself pretty much surrounded by DFW airport police cars. " But officer, there is no sign saying this is airport property." "Yes sir, I am leaving immediately".

i don't know if you ever found a field, but there are acouple of them along the service road for the George bush Tollway between Jupiter and Coit. I believe they are locally owned but I could be wrong. I was thinking of taking some prtraits in them, so i will let you know if I get run off by police! :)

There are large fields of sunflowers just east of 121 between Morningstar dr. and Paige Ave. in The Colony. They are a mile or so in length and about a half mile in width. Looks like private property. Also, there are sunflowers in the new right of way of the 121 highway.
