Well stopped at Kwik E Mart and shot on saturday-place was packed- may go back again during the week, won't be around much longer folks

How packed was it when you went. I am thinking of making a trip next tuesday. I hear its going to be like this till the end of the month.

3 registers with lines at all three, I would guess close to 100 people inside but of course it was around 2 pm on a Sat with NO RAIN.

Well TOMMORROW IS THE LAST DAY OF KWIK-E-MART!!!!!!! So if you want to stop by for a Squishee or a Kwik-E with Apu you better get your tale over there!

BTW they replaced the Comic Book Guy on the Outside (had to make a new one never recovered the stolen one) earlier this week and they added a huge inflateable Squishee Cup to the roof 4 days ago (I added some shots from today to my album).

Yeah cleaning the sensor is a MUST DO project tommorrow, going on a big roadtrip and I need to do that before the wheels roll.

Yeah the Kwik-E-Mart is just a few blocks west of North Park on the North Side of North West Highway.

They were still pretty busy around 5:30 today when I was there, they had just finished having a special gues some author who did a book about the psychology of the simpsons doing a book signing and presentation and people had drained the Squishee Machine so people were having to wait for it to refreeze a fresh batch of syrup. (I don't know if they were/are running a special mix through it or not-quite a few people were buying the donuts. That location was limiting Buzz Cola sales to 3 cans a person and they were out of Krusty O's but they had several of the RadioActive Man comic books at $3.95 each for what looked to be about a 30 pg book [sealed in plastic] and they had Simpson shaped cookies which they had not had 2 weeks ago [can be seen in at least one shot]). A lot of these items were being sold on Ebay 2 weeks ago not sure if they are still selling now. Also saw some bottle openers that played tunes when being used and other similar trinkets.

As I was doing my final shots outside some lady asked why are people taking so many pictures- she had no clue that it was going to be a Quick-E-Mart for just ONE MORE DAY!
