Isn't there a Hot Air Balloon Fest coming up in the Plano area soon? There is one in July in Longview which is good (July 8-10) see link below... http://www.texasoutside.com/longview...alloonRace.htm but Plano would like to check out Plano also since I have not been to that one yet..... :) There is a group there Sat night in Longview, "Beatle Mania Live", and I have seen them twice here. They are very very very good!! May have to drive over there that Sat night to see/hear them!!!! Yeah, Plano's is in September. It's really beautiful out there early in the morning with the balloons. |

Peolple, This is a great event. I have shot there before. My suggestions are... 1. Get a day pass 2. Get there early in the morning for the first race 3. Find a good balloonist friend and get a field pass ( I got mine!) 4. The one in Longview is great also.......I took this pic a few years ago at one of the balloon glows.........
