I lurk more than I post, but I wanted to tell you about my week! I did an informative speech on photography for a speech class that I'm taking. I had asked several people at work (I work for a school district) to look at my powerpoint slides, and tell me if they thought I'd left anything out, etc. Well I gave the speech Tuesday. It went well. Well this morning the superintendent came in and asked if I would consider teaching a digital photography continuing education class for our district! I've been asked to take pictures at Special Olympics & graduation before, but he's never said a word about my pictures. I'm sooo floored and excited! I will meet with the coordinator today to find out all the details, etc. Hurray!!!! |
