Nice shots David. That Nikon has good clarity and excellent white balance for no flash in that very mixed lighting.

The seminar !! I enjoyed it very much. Russell is a good speaker, and his years of experience and expertise in his field really shows. It was one of those experiences where you come away saying " I didn't learn any 'secrets', but I sure did have a good experience and will definitely remember Russells list of THOUGHTS about getting a good and different photo."
If it's not too late, get over there this afternoon, or look for him at other locations.

It was mostly good just to meet in person a guy whose work I greatly admire.

The folks at Bass Pro were unable to tell me the session was, but after a couple of laps around the store I was able to find it. Glad I did.

It was great to get the insights of someone who has been shooting for almost 20 years, especially since I have been shooting for just over a year now. Looking forward to spending some time with the book Russell passed out. It was a helpful session, thanks Russell.

Yeah, I asked FIVE different Bass Pro employees, including the one at the front desk, where the session was being held and not one could tell me. I wasted at least 10 minutes just walking around the store.

But it was worth it - great presentation, talented presenter/photographer, and I am looking forward to reading the book and checking out his website.
