DFW Nightscapes - past 2 weeks - 08-05-2007, 10:19 AM

I've had the honor and privledge of meeting several TPF members over the last 2 weeks. JohnT last week doing some night shots of Fort Worth, and then again last night with a bunch of others, all of whose names I don't think I'll remember. Janet, Paul, Chris, Hank, and several others. Had a blast with you guys!

Here are a few of the shots that I came away with, starting with Fort Worth from last weekend. John - had a blast with you. Thanks for giving me a call!

The obligatory skyline shot. I don't think I'll ever approach what Debbi did, but this was the best I got.

The next couple are from the Water Gardens.

Here are a few from Dallas last night. We were so close to the city that I did not have a wide-enough lens to get it all at once. Here's what I got.

Here are a couple from Lakeside/Teddy Bear Park. I ran the Midnight Sepia action against the bears, then did a bit of dodging. Not sure what I really think of it.

Twas a lot of fun, folks!

The last two were taken at Lakeside Park. Teddy Bear Park is actually part of Lakeside Park. It's near Preston and Mockingbird.

Real nice Wes! I wish I made it to the Teddy bear park with you last night, but I was pretty worn out from the whole day plus my eyes for driving at night are not that great! Was a lot of fun last night, thanks for the tripod and showing me that cool equipment I need! I will be posting some in a little while! Lets do the Ft Worth thing soon.

Thanks! Yeah, #4 is my favorite, too. The phrase, "Crystal Palace" popped into my mind on that one.
