Shoot FW Tuesday Night. - 08-07-2007, 01:54 PM

jon_k and I are going to shoot downtown FW tonight/evening. Anybody else interested in going? We are going to hit a couple of the taller parking garages and then head for the Water Gardens, I think. If anybody else wants to go we are meeting at the Montgomery Wards Plaza in front of Uncommon Angles (West side of Plaza) @ 7:15. Hope to see some of you there.

Not sure of address...but it's West on 7th St. You can see it practically from anywhere west of downtown. It's about 2 mins outside of downtown. Right before University Dr.

Real soon now. Woot. I've never done a meetup before so it should be interesting.

Anyone who's interested we're meeting at Montgomery Plaza (previously called Montgomery Wards, you know the old warehouse thats been there for eternity! (They chopped it in half and call it Montgomery Plaza now)) Just drive down 7th and you can't miss it.

The address is 2600 7th Street - ZIP 76107
Google maps of location.
Mapquest of location

If anyone plans on coming we'll be happy to see you. Maybe next time if we plan something like this we'll give more notice. First time I've planned an outing and didn't think about giving everyone time to plan.

I'll be there around 7:15 with a camera bag and tripod. We're going to meet at the Plaza building and Kevin tells me theres a store called "Uncommon Angels" situated in the outer side of the first floor. We're going to park nearby and meet in front of this store. (I think it's a store. Thats what me and Kevin agreed on. I've never shopped at the building so I don't know exactly where the store is. I think Kevin said the store is on the west side of the building.)

Our Agenda...
We're thinking we might be able to capture the watergardens at twilight, probably at the end of the trip and hopefully the lights in the pools will be on to create coolness. As for other expeditions we'll probably be hopping on top of some garages and try to get some nice shots from there. Maybe in the vicinity of the Bass Hall.

Good idea. Thanks for letting us know! (Went a few nights ago ~11pm and homeless and stuff came out at that time anyways, and yeah I did notice it was all shut off.)
