Farmers Market - 08-11-2007, 05:52 PM

Just spent an hour or so wandering around the Dallas Farmers Market. Lot's of things to shoot, and lots of fruit and vegetables to sample. I threw together a quick collage of some of my images.

There is a big farmer's market here in Houston and I keep meaning to go. These shots are an excellent example why. Great stuff!

Wes, Nice collage. We went before the downtown night shoot and got some good shots. I love farmers markets.

Wes, I like the effect of the collage. I hope it's permitted to add to the thread. Here are some of my shots from last week.

As you'll recall, I'm new 'round these parts but C&C are welcome.

Thanks for the great replies everyone!

Terry - no problems with adding to the thread. Very nice shots. Love the vibrant colors. I almost took the same shot of the "Farmers Market" sign in your first image. Chose to go with one of the signs over shed 1 instead.

I like the job you did on the collage too Wes. That photo has high advertising appeal.

Frisco Farmer's Market - 08-18-2007, 11:29 AM

For the person that asked about the Frisco Market, it is very small and in a parking lot across the street from the new city hall. It has about 8 vendors and only about 3 of them are veggies.
