Thanks! I've been there and guess I haven't been lucky to see much. It could have been the time of day or time of season. I'll go again for sure!

Try the Heard Nature and wildlife museum. They have hundreds of acres
to walk thru. They have a nice board walk that you can on. They have a
nice lake that you might get some waterfowl. The Museum is located in
McKinney off Hwy 5. They also have a photography club that meets on the
second Saturday of every month at 1:30 pm, We have speakers and field trips
every month.

Smile Plano Wildlife locations - 08-23-2007, 02:03 PM

Have you tried the park behind Collin County Community College? It's where the balloon festival is held each year. It's on Spring Creek Parkway, take the entrance nearest the parking lot for the ampitheatre. At the far end of the lot is a creek with lots to photograph. The no leash dog park is nearby and the far end of the park is bordered by Parker Rd. Do a map search for Collin County Community College, this park is it's east side.

Dianne, If you want to go explore just let me know and we can get together. I have only been in the area a few weeks and I just get up early and go exploring by myself.

Hey thanks! I haven't thought about that place! I usually end up driving an hour and a half to go to Hagerman! Thanks for the info!
