Tethered Shooting... - 08-26-2007, 03:30 PM

Has anyone done tethered shooting and which software is the best for this?
I use Nikon equipment and would like to use my laptop at location shoots.

Thanks,
Bob

Previous versions of Nikon Capture allowed you to do tethered shooting. But with Nikon Capture NX, you would need to get a separate copy of software for tethered shooting.

Nikon Camera Control Pro is also a tethered software.

Sam,

EOS Utility will allow you to do the same. It is on the solutions disk that came with your camera. It may be called another name if you have an older camera (like I did with the 20D). I downloaded the latest versions from the Canon website and updated what I had.

I used this the other morning to shoot the eclipse and verify focus.
