Anyone meeting up for the lunar eclipse?

Any spots wehre people are meeting up to shoot the lunar eclipse in the morning? Any good spots outside the city someone can suggest? Need a spot out in country without any lights.

shooting the moon does not require a dark location. it can make your viewing more pleasant, but its not really a needed and your photos will not be affected by being in light pollution. your exposures are not going to be long enough to be affected.

one of my favorite places the is park in my neighborhood. you just want to make sure you don't have any power lines or other obstructions like trees and such.

Or it's not cloudy and raining! I was hoping to have the kids watch, but guess we'll have to see.
