Grand Prairie - Native American Dancers - 09-10-2007, 10:25 AM

Saturday the family and I went down to Trader's Village and watched the Native American Dancers at the 45th Annual PowWow Championships. It was a great way to spend the afternoon. $3.00 to park and free entrance. Although, admittedly, it was HOT!

The family, watching the dancers... even with the gatorade, the hat and umbrella it was stifling in the heat.

Yeah, that girl with the umbrella is my eldest (DD1). Despite how miserable they appear in the shot, they really had a blast. After we watched the dancers for a while we went through the Native American Arts and Craft tent and went home. Poor DD1 did NOT want to leave, despite the fact that her hair was plastered to her head from sweat and her face was bright red from heat.
