I have a co worker that is broke and getting married on the 20th in Arlington. They can't afford a photographer. She is a very sweet girl and I've worked with her and her fiance for a long time. She saw some of my pics on flickr, and asked if I would volunteer to shoot her wedding so they have some kind of pictures of their big day. I'm just learning and really don't want to screw this up for her. So here's the question, I'm looking for volunteers to help me out. Any one interested in shooting with me? This wouldn't be a paid gig, but might be some really good experience for someone that's wanting to get into wedding photography. All she wants is a cd to print the pics at a later time. Mike and I will take you out to dinner afterwards!
Sorry if you made plans to help us that day, we will still take you out to dinner!

I would love to help, but she would need to get married in Arizona. Gigs like this are a great opportunity, even if there is no pay attached. Drat!

I will gladly help out... I am by no means a seasoned wedding photographer, but I LOVE going to weddings, and have been the official Photog for my first wife's cousin's wedding, back in the old days of film and such. So, with instant review, I am certain we together can provide a suitable cache of memories for you treasured friend.
That, and dinner sounds like a plan... can I bring a date?
I am currently unemployed, but hope to be by then, so there is a SLIM possibility of cancellation, though I would attempt to advise any job I get that I am already in a wedding party for that date.
PM me for contact info.

I would love to, but I'm in NC that weekend shooting a wedding. Sounds like you already have some volunteers, though. TPF is great that way!

Gotta love the 2-faced, backstabbing people, especially when you are going to help them out. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
