Anywhere in North Dallas to buy seamless backdrop paper? AND- any good local printer - 11-02-2007, 10:17 PM

HI there

I did not know if anyone could think of a store in North Dallas (I am in Plano) that sells a variety of backdrop paper.

I do not want to order it online bc I need it this week and I do not want to truck it back to downtown to Competitive Camera.

Any ideas???

Also- is there a GOOD place to order prints from (for clients) in North Dallas?

THANKS- Andrea

Try the Camera Stop in Plano. You aren't going to get the discount prices you'll find at Dallas Camera, but service and availability are excellent. I know they carry Superior paper.

Here's a little known secret... Camera Stop now also can print larger than 8" wide silver based photographs. Previously their mini-lab was limited to 8" width. I print my 11x14 portfolio images there and have had larger canvas images for clients printed also.

Good luck!

I just did a 11X14 Metallic there and it was excellent. They are getting pretty darn good up there

Are you looking for a color or standard white, black, or gray?

Camera Stop does have 9' seamless. That's the Superior brand I referenced.

Garland Camera, Dallas Camera, Camera Stop in Plano all have seamless or can get seamless. Dallas Camera has the best selection in store, but the other two have both ordered specific colors for me. Camera stop has even gone out of their way to get me a specific color on short notice (about 4 hours). I mostly buy mine from B&H though. With a NAPP membership you get free standard shipping with them (which is pricey on a 9ft roll) and it ends up being the cheapest (not by much though).

Why do you want to use paper instead of canvas, etc?
