Hello! Had a quick question for members that were around back in late 2005/early 2006. Are there still happy hour GTG's in the Plano/DFW area? I took about a year sabatical from the forum and moved to Houston. I recently moved back to the Grapevine area and wanted to see if these things were still happening. At the time we were doing one every week to two weeks if possible. I can't remember all the attendees but the regulars were: Lscottpht RiteFlyT CaptainTom Bill BabyBlueTx23 ParkImaging ScoobyRoo20 HeatherLou Jeff_Green DSimmons Brad Daniel Bates and more... (note: if I left someone off I am sorry wasn't on purpose :) Well, is this thing still happening often or did it die off? I think Norm (riteflyt) was putting them together, but it seems to have slowed down some. Hey J! We are actually having one during the day on Nov. 27. We did another about 2 months ago, but they've been pretty spread out. I'm sure people would be up for doing them again, maybe not weekly, but bi-weekly/monthly. Oh, and welcome back! |

There will be a GTG of sorts at the DPPA http://www.dallasppa.com/ meeting 11/09 at Swan Court in far north Richardson. Michael Grecco will be the speaker. He is awesome and has a couple of really great books. Im still around too, I havent been to a GTG Lately due to personal stuff, life, work, the studio, ect. I wouldn't mind trying to catch one... Been trying to get out a little more, otherwise I'm stuck home, or working. Or both at the same time. theres a big group of TPF members coming up from houston... me, lisa, my3peas, redmouse, mykey, cody, cindy etc to name a few... we will be in town friday the 16th and would love to have a get together that evening around 7pm or so... who's game?! Able, Depending on where you guys go I'd be game. Mc Kinney is pretty far from me and I have an 8AM shoot before heading up to the workshop on Saturday. Ill keep my eye out for info. |
