Meetup: Dallas Area - Friday November 16th @7pm - 11-12-2007, 09:06 AM

Hey there guys... Venue change! see below

Dallas Area - Friday November 16th ~7pm

There will be a group of from Houston driving up to Dallas on Friday in order to attend TriCoast's workshop in McKinney on sat/sun.

We definitely want to get a meetup organized for Friday night so I thought I would create a thread with hopes to find a volunteer to help get it organizied since we are not familiar with the area.

I know Jordan (redmouse), Christie (my3peas), Mike (mykey), Cody (jcclinton), Lisa and Abel will be in Dallas friday evening and would love to meet up with a bunch of DFW TPF'ers!

Anyways... I think we're staying in McKinney but we are open to meeting up someplace that will bring in a bunch of TPF'ers so a short drive for us in order to get to a good spot is not out of the question.

I'm in, but don't have time organize it.

I am looking forward to the workshop and also meeting you all. I have been a big fan of Tricoast and cannot wait to see them in action and maybe even learn a little bit

I'd love to attend, but logistically it is just too far from Fort Worth, to go to Mckinney Friday eve. , back to Ft. Worth, and back to Mckinney for the sunrise tiger shoot meeting.

Heck, even I may drive in for this meet up. Then when I set one up in NYC no one can complain about the distance as it will be shorter for a Dallas-ite to drive to NYC than for me to drive to Dallas!

I'm in and can help with some planning.

Not real familiar with McKinney, but we could always do something down the road in Frisco (15-20 minutes away). If someone knows of a good place in Allen or McKinney, let me know and I can contact them.

Let's get a show of hands.

Fran and I were discussing something like this. Maybe she can chime in with some suggestions...

I should be able to attend.

On the G9, the Eye-Fi continues the transfer even when the camera is turned OFF. Surprised the heck out of me.

Norm,
I think Bone Daddys in Richardson is located at Spring Valley (not Spring Creek) & 75 (aka Central Expressway). Just a typo.
