Eagles at Texoma - 11-12-2007, 09:00 PM

I just got off the phone with a tour guide and he does groups up to 6 people for $325. Is anyone interested in going up and shooting bald eagles in December or January? We would divide the $325 six ways making it about $56 per person. The tour can last up to 4 hours.

I would probably be more interested in Jan after the holiday rush settles down.

I'm hoping it will be before Christmas too. The only thing, the guide can't guarantee us seeing tons of eagles in 1 location. And from what I udnerstand, there are no easy access roads to where we could see them either. The guide's name is Steve Barnes.

Yeppers on the air boat. I'm hoping whatever day we decide on, there'll be plenty of eagles for us! I'm tempted to even take the camper up and have something to eat - especially if it's a cold day! We'll have to play it by ear as to when - I want at least 5 people confirmed on this one.

That's just it - there's no guarantee except if it's on the coldest day when no people are around. I can give his phone # if you wish to chat with him 940 841 0910. I'm planning to go up there to Lake Texoma anyway. Just gotta figure out the dates.

Count me as a will go unless there is a conflict in my schedule and I should know when someone picks a day. The first part of December I will be in Vegas so that would be out for me. I think it is the first week in December I will need to check the days.
