PM "Wes" and ask him about the teddy bear park. He did a session there recently, and the images looked great.

I did a family portrait at the Euless ampitheater,in the Villages of Bear Creek Park in Euless, which has a really nice little bridge as well as some good seating.

Lakeside Park at Preston and Mockingbird absolutely rocks! Shoot me a PM and I'll send you a link to the gallery where I have posted images from a recent shoot there. I'll also send you the password for the gallery.

Can I see some of the images? I'm always looking for a location closer to home.

You didnt say where you would like. Samuell Grand/Tennison Park has lots of big oaks and pecans. Dallas Baptist University in SW Dallas is photog friendly with pond, gazebo, and trails on the eastern side of the campus.

I did a kids shoot at the St Andrew's Methodist Church grounds in Plano. Nice place. Small lake. Waterfalls. Streams. Shaded tree areas and open lawn by lake. It's White Rock Creek that runs thu there.
Located just W. of Preston on Plano Pkwy.

All, or a lot of, the churches in the area have really nice decorations this time of year. Are you looking for a year-round photo or one that is seasonal?

The earlier mentioned Lakeside in Highland Park has quite a few good locations. As does the parks along Hackberry Creek which is just east of Lakeside. There are some nice shaded stairs along the creek that make for very easy group portraits.

Sorry, weekend hit and I forgot to post these! :(

This is in a little park trail on Glade road just west of 121

So is this

And this... Shot from the road at speed :)

This was at one of the parks. I believe it was on Bear Creek Pkwy, but I wouldn't swear. There are about 5 parks in the area though... Look for the Ampitheater in Euless

Speaking of that ampitheater...
