best local store for pocket wizards, DFW - 11-28-2007, 10:26 AM

hey guys,
I'm wanting to buy at least two, maybe three pocket wizards, maybe a flash, some flash mounts, and really just learn a little bit more about remote slaves. I'm willing to spend the extra by going to a retail store for the customer service. I also want to supopst local camera shops.

Where should I go, any suggestions? I'm wanting to go today. Hoping they have the stuff in stock to play with and buy on the spot.

I live in Denton, there's absolutely nothing up here.

It seems nothing is simple and a helping hand can be worth the extra cost. You need PWs, and a cable for each PW to the flash? Does it work with the camera's hotshoe or is another cable needed there? What else is called for, stands/holders for those connected to the strobes, and what else?

went to arlington camera, the guys were great there, after I bought my stuff, I just walked around. It was like a toystore. The Pocket wizards were cheaper there than on B&H. that was a shock.

One more big vote for Arlington Camera. Great people; great prices. And a fun place to hang out in.
