Yes, that is the down side. I had to take a shower when I got home because the smoke was so strong. Made for cool lighting though.

My second to Shelley's thanks to Tom for the arrangements. It was good to see those I knew and to meet those I didn't.

Shelley, I see why you rescued your husband after checking out the dog video.

Well, I was very tickled to finally make it to one of the GTG's. Had a great time meeting new photography folks and seeing friends again. Listening to all the conversations was as enjoyable as being involved in them.

(BTW: Link for Jim and Karen) I don't think Robb Kendrick is the photographer from the article I mentioned for wet plate photography but this is an interesting article.
