Unlike Joe's excellent shots where it looks fairly uncrowded at the exhibit, on this past Saturday Night, it was wall-to-wall people with a wait of one hour just to enter and then shuffling along very slowly with a huge mass of people in single digit temps. Nevertheless, I managed a few shots with my little P&S:

Ugh, sorry to hear about that. I've been there when it's like that and it's miserable.

Nice job on the images though, you'd never know there was anyone else there except for that last shot.

In retrospect, black and white might really capture those ice sculptures. Here's a converted version. Somebody who has yet to go could try some in B&W and let us know.

Good captures, Bruce. I agree about the b&w and really like the one you posted. Hopefully, I'll get out there this year.

Thanks Joe, John and Tom. Here's another example of how B&W might work out there. This, by the way, is a shepherd carrying a lamb on his shoulders.
