"Parking Garage Shoot"- Richardson - 01-11-2008, 11:50 AM

[COLOR="Red"]DATE: Saturday Feb 9
TIME: 1-4:00
This will be TF** If you do not want to trade your photography skills for the models time and the use of personal property DO NOT COME. I would recommend that we each give our 5 (more is fine) best shots of every subject that we photograph. I have set up a web site for photographers to up load photographs to. Then the models and car owners may go and download their photos! I will give details to all that attend.

Well it looks like this is going to be a blast! I wanted to send you a private email so you could have my cell and email. If you did not get an email LET ME KNOW ASAP!!!!
If everyone would bring a few bottles of water that would be good. Plan on sharing with the models that you are working with. Let’s keep our models fresh! We want them to last the whole 4 hours.

We will (if all come that signed up) have more models than cars. Which is fine. I would recommend thinking about using the models without cars. Think about poses. And we can use natural light and put them on the bridges, on the rocks around the ponds, waterfall and benches. I will bring a couple of throws and we can pose them on the ground too. Think about it, any items you might want to add to the pictures and bring those items. (flowers, books, hats, chairs, beach ball, exercise mat…..)

Here is the line up for tomorrow. IF YOU CANNOT COME PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP

Any of those dates are good for me. Sounds like a great location.

Given that we have some time, how hard would it be to secure some models? Or even willing people that aren't necessarily models, but will let us shoot them? Though cars would be pretty cool as well!

I am in. Feb 2nd is the Tricoast workshop so the 3rd would make it a pretty hectic weekend for me, I prefer any weekend besides Feb 3rd.

I agree with Emily a model would be great if available. I wouldn't mind putting up some money if we need to hire one.

I do have a bike, but it's got a few scratches, so not sure how great of a 'model' it would make, as well as not sure how I would get both my bike and my gear to the shoot, but if needed I can bring it.

Is the location right smack on Renner & 75? near the walking trails? The waterfall description sounds that way. Love the location minutes from my house!

Janice thanks for putting this together!

I'll shoot at anything....moving or stationary.....

Really, looking to use CLS with my 2 off camera Sb-800's or sync to any other devices/strobes that someone has.

Any models will do fine with lighting being the object.

I'm very interested... but come on guys.... Feb 3 is the Super Bowl....

My vote would be for the 16th or 17th. (out of town on the 10th) Also willing to chip in for models. Thanks!

I don't care what date as long as it meets:
* Preferably after 12 noon.
* Falls on weekend.

Namely, my work schedule will not permit me to meet until after 9PM on weekdays. When a date to meetup is decided I'll post and let you know if I can make it! Probably can.

What do you want to shoot. Cars, bikes, models or all of them?
I'll shoot whatever is there. All of them, none of them. Whatever is fine.

Well my camera is equipped with a 1000 megasquirtle light sensitive array with a megakilo double widget interface and a pseudo-terrafilter. its got 2 million hexafurtles with a 10 kiloplex and a rechargeable virtual combo-backplate. i also fitted an optical fillyfangle with predictive threshold histogram monitoring. it also has a light sensitive light meter and a time sensitive shutter mechanism.

Thanks for reviving this. Sorry I let it fall through the cracks but I was really busy during the holidays. Any weekend in Febuary is good except super bowl and the 23rd ( Tracys workshop). Cars and models would probably be the best to shoot. A nice bike or two wouldnt be bad either.
