Fort Worth Stock Show get together Sunday January 20th

How about if we arrange a get together at the Stock Show this year ?
General Admission is $8, but a rodeo ticket gets you general admission plus the rodeo and is only $22 ($16 for some shows).

Parade is tomorrow (Saturday) morning. A few of us are meeting in the coffee shop of Barnes and Noble at 9:30. Breakfast then parade. We have our priorities in order.

I had to miss the parade, but am ready to go to the stockshow and rodeo.

Those interested can post what day of the week they prefer.
Keep in mind that some of the rodeo shows get sold out ahead of time.



I prefer a mid week date.


tuesday Jan 29th rodeos at 2 and at 7:30 (preference).

because i just have never been, and as you might know ill be getting my 100-400 on friday,
will this lense take pics when there riding the bulls?? is there enough light??

That lens may be a bit much for this venue.
Here is a shot I took last year with a 50 1.8.
The light is what is challenging, plus the fast motion.
This year I will take my 70-200 2.8 IS and shoot at 1600 and pray for help.

I was sitting in the top row of the arena and shot with a 50. An 85 would be good. This is cropped a LOT>.>.>
