I need a favor - PARIS/COMMERCE/SULPHUR SPRINGS AREA - 01-16-2008, 08:12 AM

My brother in law passed away yesterday morning. He was 29 yrs old and leaves my beautiful sister and 3 precious children.

He was a great husband, father, Iraq veteran, and a fire fighter. 3 fire depts are coming together for his funeral and procession. I would very much like photographs of this. Morbid maybe, but I would like to be able to give the children something YEARS from now to help them remember WHO their father was and what he did.

If there is anyone out there willing and able to help me I would appreciate it greatly.

The services will *probably* be in the Paris/Sulphur Springs area. He was on the Paris FD.

Please pm me and I will get you the exact information as soon as possible.

Thank you very much,
kathy

Prayers and thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Our prayers are with your family.

It may help if you can post the day of his services as soon as you know for sure.

Kathy,

Condolences on your family's loss. You all will be in my thoughts. And, for what's it worth, I don't think that your request is morbid. I think it would be a lovely thing for the children to treasure years from now. Given his military and fire department service, I'm sure there will be a big turnout and there should be some moving pictures to share.

It is NOT Morbid - 01-27-2008, 11:45 PM

I hope you found someone to photograph this special event for you. I would have gone and photographed it for you from Plano if I had found your request in time. I have done this several times for my clients. It is nothing I consider morbid. I take pictures at every funeral I attend and it is always much appreciated.

We don't remember things well when you are in a lot of stress and I can not think of a more stressful time for a family.

If you have any really touching photographs you would like to share I would appreciate seeing them.
