OOF - The fair down in Fort Worth

This is a discussion on OOF - The fair down in Fort Worth within the Dallas / Fort Worth forums, part of the Texas category; Took this one on purpose. I thought maybe the ferris wheel would be recognizable at any focus. I'm kinda ok ...

Took this one on purpose. I thought maybe the ferris wheel would be recognizable at any focus. I'm kinda ok with it. Lemme know if you're not or anything else I should have tried...

Composed the shot (while in focus) and then twisted the focus ring on the 70-200 until I got the right effect.

So it took about $6500 in camera gear to get this shot? Nice!

I do like though!

Joe,

I love it. What a neat idea. I love thrill rides photographed at night. Never thought of doing it out of focus.

I have a few nice ones on my website if you care to look http://www.portraitsofdistinction.co...ttimeRides.htm

Joe, very nice and creative. I like the shot a lot but the 5 blown lights do bother me. Any way you could tones those lights down a little?

Michael: Fun shots!

John: Good suggestion, thanks! Shouldn't be a problem toning those down.

Not sure what this place would be like without Jake. I laughed my arse off when I read his comments.
