Noisy devils. When they practice carrier landings they are in a left pattern.
When landing south (as in all the time) this is what I get over my house...

I wish I had the talent and/or lenses that Keith is using. He definitely has the best aircraft shots I've seen.

thanks David,
I have several spots but these today were in a place I don't normally catch shots. . . these were taken atop the big hill in Lake Worth on Loop 820. . .just north of the base. Normally I am on the fenceline outside Lockheed's main gate. . . on White Settlement Road. . .you can't miss it there by the bridge. . it's a pretty good spot until base security shoos you away, which is not very often, but they do from time to time. . .they are nice about it. . .

Thanks! I'll have to give it a try. I guess they are pretty much flying in and out of there all the time?

well. . . some days yes. . .some days can be very slow. . . especially the weekends. . . it's a crapshoot. . . ya never know. . . .it's been so hot of late I have not been out there as much, the F-16's fly almost M-F twice a day. . . there are 2 squadrons of F-18's the Hunters and the Marine guys VMFA-112 "The Cowboys". . . there are also 2 squadrons of C-130's. . and they get a lot ot trainers in from other bases. . .Shephard AFB in Wichita Falls flies in here alot doing touch and goes. . . and whenever a hurricane threatens the gulf or Florida, they get a lot of aircraft seeking safe haven for a few days until the storm passes. . . .
