Nothing much, just thought the Cowboy faithful might want to see a shot of the new stadium as we approached DFW.

This is good as I could get it considering the haze, crop and approaching darkness...

wow. they've made some progress.

here's two older ones I got:

sorry, i don't have my harddrive on me, or I'd post the pictures dates. I actually have pics from three different days, these were already online, no adjustments, so they look hazy also.

Those are great! Nice job on the quality. I'd love to get up there in a private plane and get some decent shots, mine is way sharpened and taken at 1/60th while a 5 year old is tugging at my shooting arm (you'd think he'd know by now to pull on the other arm... grin).

Lookin' good. Now I think I can see why they think they can get by with charging $75 per game for parking. That's what I heard on the news anyway.

Neat shots! It might be cheaper to rent a plane and watch it from up there than to actually buy tickets and park. I heard a hot dog will be $400, and that's without mustard!

I am sorta thinking that Arlington residents such as myself should get to park for free personally. But what the heck am I dreaming about. I'll just watch on TV.

FAA blocks airspace below 2000ft in a 1 mile perimeter around NCAA and professional stadiums 1 hour before to 1 hour after game time. I'm not sure what make blimps different.

The stadium is also right in the arrival path ( hence the photo ) when landing North.
Fortunately DFW is mostly south during football season. You don't see much aerial stuff from The Ballpark for this reason.

Cool, I went to the site a few weeks ago, its HUGE! I spent some time working on the project and to see it in person is pretty cool! Traffic is going to suck going to the games though, TXdot is out of money....

Good information, thanks guys. I always wanted to take a shot of a Cowboys game from above the stadium. Thought that would make a great shot and as much as I know there's an image out there, I've never seen it.
