Rainbow - 02-16-2008, 11:07 PM

If anyone told me back in high school that one day I'd be living in a place called Flower Mound taking pictures of rainbows, well... let's just say I'd owe them an appology.

Here ya go:

BTW, it took me about 60 seconds to move that airplane into the rainbow but I don't know that it needed it.

LOL..

I ran across the street as far as I could go in the pouring rain and shot this one. Couldn't get back far enough to get the whole thing... and my garage door being open sure detracted from the image..

Cold wet bare feet also somewhat distracted me... hehe

Nice shots Joe!

Nice! Glad to see I'm not the only one chasing these things (grin).

Wow, these are great. I have not seen a rainbow in quite some time but I have heard of people chasing rainbows, I might become one of them.

Joe,

Did you see the second one forming right above the big one? It never made it across, but I tried to grab a frame of it forming..

Yeah, I got a quick shot of it:

This one I did an auto color balance to bring out the second rainbow. The first shot is color accurate though.

Hey Joe, how are you doing?

I love the second version of the rainbow shot. Wish I'd seen this!

Take care,
