Assistant Needed for Arlington Wedding - 3/8/08

Hello!
My regular assistant got tix to the Mavs game this Saturday and can't make the 6-10p wedding in Arlington, so I'm looking for someone with experience to help me out. Sorry this is so last minute! She just found out. Also, since it's so last minute, I'd prefer working with people that I've had some interaction with so I don't have to worry about dependability.

This person will need to know:
-Canon flash system
-How to rotate flash heads
-What a pocketwizard is/looks like
-How to hold a light stick at specific places
-How to smile and laugh
-How to dress nice
-A couple other things I can't think of right now

This will be a paid position for those who feel the pleasure of my company is not payment enough, and is for 4 hours only. :-)

It'll be on the UT Arlington campus, if that makes a difference.

I need someone RELIABLE, QUICK, SMART, & CAN HAVE A GOOD TIME!

haha, you know. if i got mavs tickets, i'd bail too. LOL!! j/k.
she had told me it was a possibility so we didn't lock it in. no biggie though!
too bad you can't come hold a flash for me. wouldn't need a monopod.

okay i shoot my very first bridal and wedding in march/may so i dont have any other wedding experience but have other experience with the camera...if that matters!

Mine is ULTRA SMALL.. Smallest wedding ever... 6 people total. LOL

Doing it for a very good/old friend of mine at FTW Botanic Gardens....Taking my sister along to show her the ropes...She is starting to get into the wedding market, but doesn't have much experience. But man...she has a creative eye for things... just not much on the technical side... You might say we are opposites. LOL

agreed, shelley needs to pull her gisd strings and get us some more free passes. especially those vip parking passes. wo0t!

dang man, they actually PLANNED a 6 person wedding? we had a couple that eloped and had like 6 or 7 guests total too. but, that was 'by accident' haha.

let's find something to shoot sometime!
