I got pics of the three warbirds at Alliance, but non of them in the air. I just couldn't be there at those times.
I wish they would retract the gear when they are up with passengers, but I suppose it is a safety thing to leave the gear down.

i got lucky because the three birds happened to fly right over the patio i was sitting on sunday afternoon, very low. i didn't get any pix, but there's not much cooler than hearing the rumble of 4 big radial engines that close. truly something special!

I was on 635 when I saw this plane the other evening!

Gawd I wish I had my camera that day, while stuck in traffic.

Great shots Scott!!
I was lucky enough to get this shot from my car as I was traveling up the seawall in Galveston recently. I had to grab the camera and lens off the passenger seat and fire right away to get the shot so I naturally had the shutter too fast to blur the props any. It was an awesome sight & sound! If anyone is interested in aviation at all (especially military) they really should go see it if they have the chance.
