I-30 at Montgomery on the North Side of the highway in West Fort Worth is almost covered with Bluebonnets!

Thanks Bruce!!! I hadn't even noticed because usually I take the "back roads" to work (live off 30 and Clover and work in the hospital district). Now if it will just clear up, I'll head out there :-)

Actually like the overcast. It helps saturate the flower colors. Like a huge softbox. I'll be over there checking out the coverage as well.

Thanks for the postings, been waiting for a prime spot. I'll post also when I locate. Want a nice area that's traffic friendly for kids.

There is a perfect spot at the Trinity Trails at River Oaks Blvd. They are very thick and there is no traffic. Perfect for kids, just watch out for the high water near the river.

Could you please give us some cross streets? I'm not sure where this is.

Thanks,

Thanks,

NW side of Hwy 183 (Westworth Blvd/River Oaks Blvd) just before Sam Calloway Rd. in River Oaks, TX.

You'll have to park somewhere and "hike" down to where the bluebonnets are.
I parked on Red Cardinal Ln (SE of the hwy) and walked under the bridge to get there. You might be able to park at the car wash on Sam Calloway (behind my marker on the map), but I'm not sure it's easy to get down to the trail from there or not.
