I tried calling but got an no longer working automatic message. Does anyone know the Curtain Club's policy on camera's and photo taking while people are preforming?

Thanks!

I shot there last week (with a band) but there were at least 10 others with DSLR's in there and no one ever said a word . . . lighting STINKS! ISO 1600, with a 70-200 f/2.8L and they were still dark . . . had to use my 50mm f/1.8 to get any with clarity.

I used to shoot there almost every weekend, and never had a problem with anything. They would let me use flash if the band didn't care, get on stage, shoot from the sound board etc. They were all really cool at the CC. I would even get calls from the bartender (craig, probably doesn't work there anymore) if there was a big name rolling in. This was back in the 90's though, so I am sure things have changed since then. I think what helped me was, I would go back and drop off some prints for them. Same thing at the Orbit Room, Galaxy Club, Trees, and Clearview. Just get on their good side!! I always paid at the door, bought their booze, and just BS'd with everyone, especially the lighting guy.
