Pics from the ballpark(with T/S lens) - 04-14-2008, 10:55 AM

Here are a few shots from Saturday out at the ballpark. I didn't really have time to do much, I had 4 kids with me all between the ages of 5 & 6
The band Third Day was playing before the game so I was planning on getting some cool shots, but by the time we got there it was so crowded I couldn't even see the band!

So I played some more with the T/S lens......

And one non tilt/shift shot as we were leaving.

Those are great. The images rendered with the tilt-shift look almost like teeny tiny models. Neat.

I absolutely love the last shot. Arlington is a fantastic field to visit. It's my third favorite behind Minute Maid and Wrigley. Great shots! GO RANGERS! And Astros and Cubs of course.

That last one rocks, I love taking pics at night across that lake. Those really do look like models of cars in front of the other stadium. BTW, anybody know any good locations to get both the ballpark and the new stadium in the same shot?

Thanks Jerry, Joe and Chris!

I think I need to shoot that last one again with a tripod so I don't have to shoot at ISO800
